Driver charged in crash that killed four teens in East Bridgewater

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WPRI) — A Stoughton man has been indicted as a youthful offender on charges in a crash on Route 106 in East Bridgewater that left his four young passengers dead.

On Friday, a Plymouth County Grand Jury returned indictments against 18-year-old Naiquinn Hamilton for the crash that happened on May 19th.

According to the Plymouth County District Attorney, Hamilton is facing four counts each of Manslaughter by Motor Vehicle, Motor Vehicle Homicide by Operating Under the Influence, and Motor Vehicle Homicide by Reckless Operation.

Investigators allege Hamilton, who was seventeen at the time of the fatal crash, was driving recklessly and under the influence of marijuana.

He will be arraigned on the charges in Brockton Juvenile Court at a later date.
