SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Four people were stabbed early Monday morning as a club let out in Springfield.

Springfield Police Department spokesman Ryan Walsh told 22News officers were called to a report of a large disturbance outside Le Souk hookah bar at around 2:00 a.m.

Lt. Sean Arpin said there were multiple fights, and four people were stabbed. Walsh said no one has been arrested yet in connection with the stabbing.

“At this time it is believed that one assailant stabbed all four victims,” Walsh said.

All four victims were taken to Baystate Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Four people were arrested in connection with the disturbance itself on various charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with a police investigation. Walsh said more information about those arrests will be available on Tuesday.

When our 22News crew went to the disturbance overnight, we saw about 19 police cruisers in the area where Main Street intersects with Worthington and Bridge Streets.

A section of Worthing Street was blocked off but has since re-opened.
