Granby man sentenced up to 10 years in prison for child enticement

A Granby man previously convicted of child pornography charges was sentenced to another round of prison time Tuesday, after pleading guilty to enticing young girls to send him explicit photos.

Northwestern District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Mary Carey told 22News 35-year-old Eric Lacoste was sentenced in Hampshire Superior Court Tuesday to 7 to 10 years in state prison and 10 years probation.

Carey said terms of Lacoste’s probation include sex offender treatment, no contact with children, and GPS monitoring.

Lacoste pleaded guilty Monday to three counts of pose/exhibit child in the nude, five counts of enticing a child under 16, and possession of child pornography – a second offense.

He previously served six months in prison after pleading guilty in 2014 to dissemination of obscene matter to a minor.
