Granby police looking for tow truck driver accused of assaulting woman

Police are looking for a tow truck driver accused of assaulting a woman in Granby on March 29.

According to the Granby Police Department, the suspect picked up a woman in Holyoke that night, and drove her to Granby, where he assaulted her.

Police said the alleged attacker is a white man with brown hair and light colored eyes, who is approximately 35 to 45 years-old. The suspect is also described as being approximately  5’7″ to 5’10” tall, heavy set, and is a heavy smoker.

Granby police said the tow truck is white with “unspecified red letting on the side,” and was carrying a dark-colored vehicle on its flatbed at the time of the incident. 

Granby police are working with Holyoke and Massachusetts State Police to identify and locate the man.
