Police in Holland are investigating after several cars were broken into and several cars were stolen early Thursday morning.

According to the Holland Police Department, the stolen cars were a gray Ford Explorer with New Hampshire license plates, a gray Acura TL with Massachusetts plates, and a silver Nissan Altima with Connecticut plates.

Police said the cars broken into were unlocked and some had keys left in them.

The Nissan Altima was found by police Thursday morning on Lake Shore Drive, but two of the cars remained missing.

Police are asking anyone who thinks their car may have been broken into or saw anything suspicious to call the Holland Police Department at 413-245-0117.

Residents are also advised to remove the keys, close the windows, and lock the doors anytime any time your vehicle is left unattended.
