Holyoke man arrested for 4th OUI

A Holyoke man was arrested for his fourth OUI offense Monday, following a car accident on Sanders Street in Chicopee.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike WIlk told 22News 56-year-old Daniel Robert has also been charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Wilk said Robert drove through the yard of 48 Sanders Street, before hitting a parked car at around 5:49 p.m.

When speaking to Robert about the accident, Wilk said officers smelled alcohol, saw he was unsteady on his feet, and observed he was slurring his speech.

Wilk said Robert had an active Massachusetts drivers license at the time of the crash. He was held on $1040 bail.
