Longmeadow police remind residents to lock their cars after a string of break-ins


Longmeadow police are reminding residents to lock their cars and not leave anything valuable in sight after a string of reported of break-ins earlier this week.

According to the Longmeadow Police Department, the break-ins were reported on Sunday night and Monday morning.

Police said break-ins occurred on Academy Drive, King Philip Drive, Wildwood Gen, Canterbury Lane, Ellington Street, Dunsany Drive, Meadowlark Drive, Wolf Swamp Road, Fernleave Avenue, Wimbleton Drive, Wyndward Road, Birch Road, and Bel-Air Drive. 

All vehicles with reported break-ins showed no forced-entry as all were unlocked or had the windows down.
