Longmeadow Police seeking identity of woman using fake $100 bills

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Police are warning businesses and residents to be on the lookout for fake money that’s being passed around town.

Longmeadow Police told 22News they were alerted to counterfeit money being used at businesses by a woman on two different occasions. On March 27 and May 4, the woman allegedly paid for merchandise with fake $100 bills.

The woman suspected of using the fake money is described as black, about 25-35-years-old. She was driving a black four-door 2013 or 2014 Honda Accord with NY license plates.

Longmeadow Police say be cautious when accepting large bills. Please call (413) 567-3311 if you have any information that might help police identify the woman.
