Man accused of stealing employee’s bike from Chicopee Walmart identified

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee Police have identified a man accused of stealing a Walmart employee’s bike.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News the bike was stolen from inside the vestibule of the store on Thursday at approximately 9:00 in the morning.

Wilk said the employee bikes to work from the East Longmeadow area.

Police received multiple calls and tips about the suspect’s identity, which led police to identify him.
