Man convicted of wife’s murder in Massachusetts now charged in daughter’s 1995 murder

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) – New Britain police arrested a 74-year-old man Wednesday for allegedly murdering his daughter back in 1995.

Police say Robert Honsch was charged with murder for killing his 18-year-old daughter Elizabeth Honsch in 1995. Her body was found behind 589 Hartford Road on September 28th, of that year.  

Honsch is already serving a prison sentence after he was found guilty in Massachusetts last year of killing his then wife Marcia Honsch. Her body was found in the Massachusetts Tolland State Forest on October 6, 1995.

Honsch was extradited from Massachusetts to Connecticut to appear on the New Britain charge. 

He is being held on $1 million bond.
