SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A man who was in critical condition after a shooting on Waltham Avenue in Springfield is dead.
Hampden County District Attorney’s Office spokesman Jim Leydon told 22News 48-year-old Jesus Flores died from the injuries he suffered from the shooting that took place on November 3.
When the shooting happened, the city’s police spokesman Ryan Walsh said police were called to a ShotSpotter activation on Waltham Ave. around 10:40 p.m. that Saturday night and found Flores suffering from a gunshot wound.
Leydon told 22News no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting at this time.
