More than 650 bags of fentanyl seized in Wilbraham


WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – Wilbraham police detectives seized more than 650 bags of fentanyl from a home Friday morning.

Wilbraham Police Captain Edward Lennon told 22News officers obtained a search warrant for the home in connection with an ongoing and lengthy narcotics investigation.

Lennon said detectives also found multiple prescription narcotics and a large amount of cash during the early morning search. One person has been arrested and is now facing multiple narcotics charges, including trafficking fentanyl.

22News left a message with Wilbraham police for more information about the suspect.
