Police are trying to determine how two people ended up with cut wounds from sharp objects Friday evening.

Police spokesman Ryan Walsh told 22News officers were called to a home near 100 Breckwood Circle for a disturbance around 5:15 p.m.

Walsh explained that a resident and an assailant were both cut with sharp objects. He did not identify the type of sharp object involved in the incident.

The two were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Walsh said police are still looking into the incident and that no arrests have been made.
