Northampton police looking for man who allegedly broke car windows with a hammer

Northampton police are looking for a man that allegedly smashed several car windows early Tuesday morning.

According to Northampton Police Chief Jody Kasper, officers were called to Bright Street at 12:07 a.m. for a report of a man smashing car windows with a hammer

Kasper said officers spoke with two people who stated they saw the man breaking windows.

The five vehicles were damaged were on Bright Street, King Street, and Trumbull Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 413-587-1100 and ask for a member of the detective bureau.
