HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – A Windsor man is facing weapons charges after he was arrested in Hartford early Sunday morning, according to police.
At 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, authorities say officers investigated a party on Belden Street in the city of Hartford. During that time, they say suspicious activity was seen behind a residence on that same street.
Officials say detectives responded to that location and detained 33-year-old Tyshawn Turner of Windsor. They say he was seen quickly entering and exiting a parked vehicle.
According to police, two firearms were seen in the rear passenger floorboard of the car. As a result, they say Turner was arrested.
Authorities say Turner was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm, weapons in a motor vehicle and theft of a firearm.
