Pittsfield police seeking dashcam video after recent shooting


Pittsfield police are asking for help after a man was shot and seriously injured Saturday.

Pittsfield Captain Mark Trapani told 22News, a 30-year-old man was critically wounded just before 9 a.m. Saturday in the area of Spring and Willow Streets.

Trapani is asking anyone who has a dashcam and was in Pittsfield the morning of the shooting between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. to contact the police department, even if they weren’t in the immediate area of the shooting. 

Additionally, anyone who has information about the shooting is asked to call police at 413-448-9705.

Police said they have made significant progress in the case already, but are continuing to investigate the incident.
