Plainfield PD: 17 bags of fentanyl prompt the arrest of man while his daughter sits in the car

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – Saturday evening officers arrested 26 year-old Luis Quintant of Plainfield for posession of narcotics and risk of injury to a minor.

According to police, patrol officers observed Quintana operating a vehicle and the officer’s recognized him from previous investigations that he had a suspended license. 

Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Starkweather Road which had Quintana’s girlfriend and juviniles daughter inside. 

Using a K-9 team, officers were alerted to the presence of narcotics. After conducting a search, officers located a total of 17 bags of fentanyl.
