According to the Wilbraham Police Department, the following incidents occurred in Wilbraham between September 4 and September 9 which resulted in arrests:
Police pulled over 38-year-old Jason Harrell of Springfield at 10:21 p.m. after he allegedly failed to stay within marked lanes. He was arrested when officers found he had a warrant out for his arrest.
37-year-old Joshua Berkiel of Ludlow was arrested after police got a warrant. Police said detectives had probable cause to believe that Berkiel allegedly stole almost $20,000 from a Wilbraham home that his girlfriend worked at.
At 12:21 a.m. officers pulled over a car on Boston Road for an inspection sticker issue. Police said the officer allegedly saw signs that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
After a brief investigation the officer arrested 65-year-old James Plankey of Monson for operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation.
At 12:17 a.m. police pulled over a car on Boston Road for a equipment violation and found the driver didn’t have a license.
When officers investigated further they allegedly found one of the passengers, 25-year-old Oscar Ochaeta-Morataya of Providence, was arrested and charged with possessing a class B substance.
