The Second Chance Vet Hospital in Springfield is asking for help identifying the person who allegedly vandalized the hospital last week.
According to Second Chance Spokesperson Diane Tillotson, the hospital on Mulberry Street was vandalized twice, once Wednesday night and again Thursday night.
Tillotson said the hospital found pickets from their fence scattered across their parking lot Wednesday morning and had made arrangements to have the fence repaired Monday when it was vandalized again Thursday night.
When director, Julie Sullivan, watched the security footage of that night she found the alleged vandal playing with the fence pickets in the snow.
The hospital is now asking for help identifying the suspect so that “staff can concentrate on helping animals.”
Springfield Police Department spokesperson Ryan Walsh told 22News officers are investigating the incident.
