Springfield man arrested, accused of breaking into cars

A Springfield man was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly broke into several cars.

According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, 18-year-old James Scott and a juvenile are each facing three charges of  felony breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime. 

Walsh said police were called to Cloran Street at 11:40 p.m. Sunday for reports of cars getting broken into. 

Police were able to locate the Scott and the juvenile riding their bikes on the intersection of Bay Street and Meadow Road based on the description given to them.

After placing arresting Scott and the juvenile, officers were able to go back to Cloran Street and find three cars that had been broken into.
