Springfield man arrested, accused of three armed robberies within two days


A man from Springfield is facing charges after he allegedly committed several armed robberies over the weekend.

According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, 32-year-old Jason Walsh is charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of armed assault to rob. 

Walsh said the first robbery was at 1200 Wilbraham Road on Saturday morning. 

The man is also accused of a robbery Saturday night at 1225 Parker Street and an additional robbery at 1200 Wilbraham Road Sunday morning. 

The knife and syringes, which were allegedly used in the robberies, were found by police.
