One Springfield man is facing firearms-related charges after he was arrested Friday afternoon.
According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, 20-year-old Raquan Lopez was arrested at 58 White Street after police executed a search warrant.
Walsh said Lopez was initially arrested at 2:35 p.m. on the intersection of Johnson and Dickinson Streets, but he then let officers into his home on White Street as part of the search warrant for a firearms investigation.
Police found a revolver and ammunition inside the home.
Lopez is charged with possession of a firearm without an FID card and possession of ammunition without an FID card.
