Springfield PD: Man arrested for violating probation

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) – A Springfield man was arrested Wednesday morning for allegedly violating his probation. 

According to Springfield Police Spokesman Ryan Walsh, 25-year-old Shacoby Kenny was arrested at his apartment on Temple Street around 8:30 a.m. 

Walsh said Kenny was arrested on a warrant for violating his probation. He was charged with carrying a firearm without a license from an armed robbery on November 16 last year.

Members of the Springfield Police Warrant Apprehension Unit, U.S. Marshal Task Force, VFAS State Troopers and Hampden County Sheriff’s Department were involved with the arrest.
