Springfield police investigating home invasion on Woodmont Street


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield police are investigating a home invasion in the city’s Liberty Heights neighborhood.

Springfield Police Department spokesman Ryan Walsh told 22News officers were called to a home on Woodmont Street around 1:00 p.m., where a woman said she was assaulted by a Hispanic woman who was accompanied by a Hispanic man.

Walsh said the two suspects left in a red car after stealing several items from the home.

The victim was not taken to the hospital.
