Springfield police looking to identify woman accused of using fake ID to buy iPhones

Springfield police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an identity fraud and larceny scheme.

Springfield Police Department spokesman Ryan Walsh told 22News the woman seen in the surveillance photo above used a fraudulent picture ID to purchase two iPhones at the T-Mobile store on Belmont Avenue.

If you recognize the suspect or have any information, you’re asked to call Springfield Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit at 413-787-6355.
