(WDIV) Two people are dead after a “targeted” shooting spree at three Michigan businesses.
Stacia Stanley helped people escape her place of employment Thursday when a former employee showed up at a Waterford trucking company with an AK-47.
“I couldn’t believe someone was standing in the doorway with a gun,” Stacia Stanley said.
Stanley motioned to get the attention of two co-workers before sneaking past the gunman, who killed two other people when he went on a shooting spree around the metro Detroit area. She also informed a third co-worker about the man with a gun.
The alleged shooter — a 45-year-old man from Sterling Heights — is in the hospital after a wild chain of events unfolded.
