West Springfield police looking to identify assault suspect


WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – West Springfield police are looking to identify an assault suspect.

According to West Springfield police, the woman seen hanging out of the passenger side window in the photo above is accused of assault by means of a dangerous weapon in connection with an incident that happened on Memorial Avenue on the last day of the Big E.

The woman pictured in the gray sweatshirt has already been identified, but West Springfield police released her photo because they think she may be the sister of the suspect.

Police also released a photo of the car involved in the incident, which shows damage to the passenger rear door.
