Woman accused of assaulting Springfield store clerk with price scanning gun

Springfield police are looking to identify a woman accused of assaulting a store clerk with a price scanning gun.

Springfield Police Department spokesman Ryan Walsh told 22News the incident happened at a store on Sumner Avenue the morning of May 6.

The woman is described as being between 25-35 years old and 5’7″ tall. If you recognize her or have any information, you’re asked to call Springfield police at 413-787-6355 or message them on Facebook.
