From walking the halls at Longmeadow High School to singing in front of millions on national television, Longmeadow’s Brynn Cartelli stands out in any crowd.
The 15-year-old freshman has stood out on NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ surviving several elimination rounds. Only nine other singers stand between her and winning the competition.
While Cartelli is a star is on the rise, she still has homework to do, just like all the other Longmeadow High School freshmen.
“I’ve been checking in with her teachers, everything’s fine. It’s unbelievable if there’s anything that needs to be done we’ll do it on this end to make sure she finishes,” Cartelli’s Guidance Counselor, Marianne Smith said.
Smith told 22News Cartelli carries herself the same way in the classroom as she does on stage.
“Everything that you see of Brynn at ‘The Voice’ is how Brynn is here at school, she goes above and beyond in anything that she is asked, she’s a perfectionist,” Smith said.
You can continue watching her journey as she performs on ‘The Voice’ this coming Monday night, right here on 22News.
