Dry weather set to continue for most of the week

Western Massachusetts broke the record for most rainfall in one year earlier this month, so there has definitely been a fair share of rain. But that all changed this weekend.

Instead of a cold rain or wintry mix making many residents not want to step foot outside, they finally saw some dry, sunny weather.

But it will stay cold this week; after all, it is December. The 22News Storm Team 7 Day Forecast shows dry weather most of the week, with rain not returning until Friday.

But don’t let the sun fool you into thinking it’s warm. Temperatures won’t make it out of the 30s until Friday when it hits back near the 40s.

On Saturday, western Mass. could reach near 50 degrees again, but that comes with the return of wet weather.
