(CNN) – It’s a stunning glimpse of earth, as seen through the rings of Saturn. Take a look at the just-released photo from NASA.

Through the icy rings of Saturn, you can see earth as a point of light. The view is from 870 million miles away. The photo was taken by NASA’s Cassini Spacecraft back on April 12th.

For the record, it’s a view of Earth’s Southern Atlantic Ocean facing the camera. In a close up, you can make out the Moon alongside Earth.

The Cassini Mission is a collaborative effort between NASA, the European Space Agency, and Italy’s Space Agency. It launched in 1997, taking seven years to get to Saturn, where it’s been orbiting ever since.

Cassini’s flight ends later this year.
