EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The Easthampton Police arrested two people for allegedly selling heroin in Easthampton.
Easthampton Police Officer Chad Alexander told 22News that on Tuesday they were investigating the sales of heroin in Easthampton.
During the investigation, police arrested two men that allegedly traveled to Easthampton for the sole purpose of selling heroin in the city, said Alexander.
The undercover operation lead to the seizure of 87 bags of heroin and several hundred dollars in cash, said Alexander.
The two men arrested are Angel Rivera of 12 Sargeant St., Holyoke, and Santiago V. Soltren-Ramirez of 14 Gerald Way, Holyoke.
They are both being charged with possession to distribute a class A drug (heroin), and conspiracy to violate drug law. Soltren-Ramirez is also being charged with possession of a class C drug, said Alexander.
