Longmeadow resident and the youngest champion ever of NBC’s “The Voice” Brynn Cartelli performed the National Anthem before Friday night’s Springfield Thunderbirds game.

Before she took to the ice, Cartelli snapped photos with her fans and signed autographs.

This has been a big year for Cartelli. She told 22News she has a special appearance and performance next week in New York City.

“On Thanksgiving, I’m going be performing on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the Universal Kids Float. So I’m excited about that. That’s so fun,” said Cartelli. “That’s gonna be a big dream come true right there.”

That’s not the only thing she’s excited about for next week.

Cartelli told 22News she’ll be meeting with her new recording label as well.
