Fake Black Friday Kohl’s coupon making it’s way around

Shoppers are being warned about a fake Kohl’s Black Friday coupon circulating on social media.

The coupon posted by the account Kohl’s Club offers a $150 coupon for Black Friday, but the retailer said they have no such promotion.

Kohl’s said they’re working with Facebook to take the account down. The better business bureau is warning shoppers about holiday season schemes.

The BBB said criminals can easily rip off logos and make a post seem authentic.

“I feel like I’m very more cautious because that’s an easy way for people to scam me and get my credit card information and mess with my credit score,” said Jamiah Powell of Springfield. “So I’m more cautious on what I choose to look at and what I choose to click on.”

Remember: If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

You’ll find legitimate Kohl’s coupons on their website, or in your mailbox.
