The snow has been good for some businesses in western Massachusetts.
Skiers and snowboarders welcomed the snow and cold weather Sunday at Otis Ridge. Many were out on the slopes taking advantage of the fresh powder.
Eric Vanoostveen, a manager, said business is going in the right direction, “Everybody is kind of coming out of the woodwork and thinking about skiing again. Even today after everybody got their driveways shovel and dug out they came right up here. By noon the parking lot was pretty full. we had a good day today.”
Management said this is the time of year where business starts to pick up, and it helps of course after a snowstorm.
