Granby collision sends two to Baystate

GRANBY, Mass. (WWLP) – Two women were hurt when their cars collided head-on Saturday afternoon in the Hampshire County town of Granby.

The accident happened just before 3pm Saturday on Route 202 near Library Lane. Granby Police Officer Jason Richard told 22News one car crossed the center line, and collided with the other.

One driver had to be rescued using the Jaws of Life.

Both women were rushed to Baystate Medical Center; they are expected to live.
