Burlington, VT – Green Mountain Transit will start collecting fares again on Chittenden County and Link Express routes.
GMT had stopped collecting fares during the start of the Pandemic to cut down on contact between riders and drivers.
Before the pandemic, GMT collected about 2.5 million dollars a year in fare revenue.
The fees will go back into effect on January 2nd of 2024.
