HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – The man who died days after being involved in a boating accident on the Connecticut River in Hadley has been identified.
Massachusetts Environmental Police spokeswoman Katie Gronendyke identified the victim and operator of the boat as 32-year-old Corey Cabrera, of Ludlow.
She said Cabrera had been using a relative’s boat without permission at the time of the July 25 crash. He was taken to the hospital, but passed away on Saturday.
Two passengers were also injured in the accident. Gronendyke said they were treated and released from the hospital the same night as the accident.
Gronendyke told 22News environmental police, along with local and state police, are continuing to look into other aspects of the crash.
