Baystate Medical Center awarded grant to help families with childhood trauma

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Baystate Medical Center is on the receiving end of federal grant money to treat children and families experiencing psychological trauma.

Baystate is getting $5-million in grant money. The hospital plans to use the money to expand mental health services.

They’ll also create a national center at Baystate that provides training and technical support for child advocacy centers across the country.
