Baystate Medical Center unveiled their new state-of-the-art pediatric procedure unit Tuesday night.
This new facility consists of services such as endoscopy, infusions, and minimally invasive surgical and dental procedures.
The new pediatric unit will also provide more privacy and comfort for patients and their families.
Chief of Pediatric Surgery Kevin Moriarty told 22News, “This is just about the child. It’s a better environment for them. It’s less stressful and that enhances their recovery.”
This site is also the new home for the Sadowsky Center for Children which was previously located at the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care.
