Holiday shopping rush starting to begin

News

The clock is ticking for holiday shopping.

We’re just 16 days away from Christmas and since this is the second to last weekend before the big day you can expect a lot of shoppers will be out here getting those items to check off their Christmas list.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Registers are ringing and cards are swiping as we make our way through December, the busiest month for holiday shopping.

Though businesses already have items being purchased off their shelves, they know the real rush comes just days before presents are given.

According to The National Retail Federation, 53 percent of consumers plan to shop on the last Saturday before Christmas; Dec. 22, also known as “Super Saturday.”
