I-Team: Allegations of inadequate treatment at Leeds VA hospital

The Veterans Administration has been under scrutiny for several years as thousands of veterans, and their families, across the country have come forward with complaints of inadequate treatment.

Dr. Sarah Kemble was the Chief of Medicine at the VA facility in Leeds. In the days leading up to her death, she wrote a 23-page affidavit accusing the VA Central Western MA Healthcare System of substandard care. Several local veterans contacted the 22News I-Team with similar allegations against the Leeds facility.

The 22News I-Team obtained records outlining those complaints, and spoke to federal VA officials about the ongoing investigation.  Find out what we’ve uncovered in the I-Team report on VA HOSPITAL COMPLAINTS, Thursday, May 17 on 22News at 6pm.
