I-Team: The personal cost of the opioid crisis


A report from the Massachusetts Taxpayer Foundation found that the opioid crisis cost Massachusetts $15.2-billion in 2017.  The monetary impact is a startling fact, but what about the personal cost?

Addiction not only affects the health and well being of an addict, but also their family and friends.  It may be your child, your neighbor, or a former classmate. Chances are you know someone who has been touched by the opioid epidemic.
