I-Team: Unlicensed bounce houses

I-Team

Bounce houses are a growing trend for children’s parties. Massachusetts state law requires bounce house companies to have permits, inspections, and insurance, but the 22News I-Team discovered not every company is following the rules.

We found several unlicensed bounce house companies operating in western Massachusetts, and without a license, there’s no way to tell whether they’re following safety protocols. The I-Team paid a visit to several of these companies, to try and track down the owners. What we discovered may surprise you.

Before you consider renting a bounce house, be sure to watch the 22News I-Team report on UNLICENSED BOUNCE HOUSES, Thursday, July 12 on 22News at 6pm.
