CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP)– The first day of school is quickly approaching and on the list of things to do for parents is scheduling annual physicals for their children.

This week on 22News InFocus we’ll be discussing what doctors look for when examining your child, and the many services available in our region to help you keep your child healthy.

During the first half hour of the program we’ll be talking with a pediatrician from Baystate Health about physical and mental health, nutrition, and how to start a routine before school starts.

In the second half we’ll be discussing local social service programs offered through United Way that focus on children’s and community health and wellness.

Watch 22News InFocus Sunday at noon. You can also find the entire program here on WWLP.com.
