There are nearly 2-million girls who are members of Girl Scouts across the United States. The organization was founded in 1912, and since then,Girl Scouts has played an important role in empowering girls and young women.

This week on 22New InFocus we’ll be talking about how Girl Scouts programs promote leadership skills and community involvement. We’ll also learn about how scouting has changed to meet the needs of girls over the past one-hundred years.
