Local church health fair educates community on better living

Shiloh 7th Day Adventist Church in Springfield hosted their annual Community Health Fair Sunday afternoon.

Different vendors in the community set up tables where guests were able to stop by for information. People were also able to get their blood pressure and BMI tested, and even enjoyed free massages.

Pastor Jenks Brutus told 22News, “Regardless of what your race is, regardless of what it is that you do, we all need to come together. Events like this sometimes serve as a bridge in bringing us together.”

Members of the Springfield Police Department also participated in Sunday’s fair.

Pastor Brutus said the event is a collective effort from the Springfield community.
