7-year-old identified as second victim of deadly Page Blvd crash

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One of the children injured in the crash on Page Blvd in Springfield last week has died.

Hampden County District Attorney spokesman Jim Leydon identified the second victim of the crash as 7-year-old Evangelize Rodriguez. The crash also claimed the life of passenger 26-year-old Aida Hernandez.

A three-year-old child was also seriously injured in the accident. Leydon said neither child appeared to be in a car seat at the time of the crash.

Springfield police and the district attorney's office Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit is still looking into what led up to the crash. No arrests have been made at this time.
