The annual Clarkdale Fruit Farms Harvest Festival took place Monday.
The annual harvest festival gave those who attended an opportunity to pick apples and try free samples of every variety of apple and pear. From Macintosh to Granny Smith, you name it they had it at Clarksdale Farms.
Farm owner Ben Clark said despite Monday’s rain the farm had a successful holiday weekend.
“We’re certainly seeing traffic, and even with other businesses in the area they’ve had a positive year so far, the big thing is dry weekends,” said Clark.
The festival also had free cider samples as well. If you couldn’t make it to Monday’s festival, you can pick apples daily at Clarksdale Farm Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
