Au Bon Pain closing Yankee Candle Village location

Au Bon Pain in the Yankee Candle Village will soon close its doors.

According to Associate and Communications Manager for Newell Brands Jamie Hargraves, the South Deerfield location will close permanently at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Hargraves said beginning Wednesday, Hillside Pizza Cafe will be taking over at the Yankee Candle Village’s in-store cafe.

Au Bon Pain opened in July of of 2017 after Chandler’s Restaurant closed its doors in after more than 20 years of business. 

Hillside Pizza is a local, family-run business that has locations in Hadley, South Deerfield, and Bernardston. 

The Pizza Cafe will be open during normal Yankee Candle Village store hours and offer a variety of pizza, wraps, salads, soups, coffee, and baked goods.

“We have had the pleasure of working with Hillside Catering for events over the past several years and we couldn’t be happier with the service they have provided. It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside Craig, Amy, Jeff and their team and we very much look forward to our continued partnership”  said Wade Bassett, Director of Sales and Operations at Yankee Candle Village.
